Tyler Yu

I graduated from Archbishop Riordan High School and I studied mathematics in San Francisco State University. I took several upper-division math courses along with computer science courses. I like computational math like Algebra and Calculus along with other types of math such as Geometry.

I previously worked at Upgrade, a tutoring center which helps students with Math, reading, writing and comprehension. I was also tasked with helping teach an Algebra I program to various 8th graders. In addition to tutoring students, I helped with the administrative duties.

I also enjoy playing and watching sports such as basketball and volleyball. I truly love and enjoy working with kids and I am passionate about making a positive influence in their lives.

I worked at Upgrade, a tutoring center for students from K-8. I worked as an assistant director, where my responsibilities included helping the program director with administration work as well as looking over other tutors. I also helped tutor students when I was able to.
