I have diverse experience in medical-surgical nursing, long term care, pediatric behavioral health, and outpatient behavioral health. • Cared for patients in the outpatient mental health setting, performed assessments, administered long-acting injections, coordinated care with other healthcare facilities and providers, and managed the nurse call line.

• Cared for pediatric patients and residents aged 5-17 on the acute inpatient and residential psychiatric units. Also communicated with families and legal guardians frequently.

• I cared for residents as a staff nurse and charge nurse for night shift. Experience includes caring for approximately 25-30 residents per shift while delegating as appropriate and coordinating care with an interdisciplinary team. Care has included assessment, medication administration, ostomy and wound care, education and reinforcement, fall prevention, de-escalation, diabetes management, peritoneal dialysis, administration of TPN, blood draws, specimen collection, maintaining infection control, and responding to resident emergencies and codes among other nursing tasks.
