I am Noemi Daley, an undergraduate Biological Sciences student at Biola University. I grew up in San Bernardino. I spent my high school years in the following clubs; theatre, German, auto shop, speech, and debate.
I was a stationer for baseball, football, and basketball for my school's teams both in high school and college. My youth was learning. I’ve enjoyed traveling and having new experiences. I work best with a team.
Self-reflection and self-competition can only get you so far. I enjoy finding new ways to optimize my place of employment. If I have time to lean, I have time to work. My father was a boomer and raised me with a few golden nuggets; “If you are not going to do it right, then do not do it at all.”
I have 4 years of entry-level experience in academic HR at Biola University in the office of Faculty Advancement with the Program Coordinator from 2019 to 2023. I performed clerical and administrative tasks part-time in the summer. I also volunteer at a nonprofit in Fullerton named Grace Group, and the first rule about Grace Group is we don't talk about Grace Group.
I can handle confidential information and sensitive situations. I also worked in Europe during the summer of 2017 with refugees with a team that had to be confidential, and sensitive. I love to learn, I am a student for life.
I know federal and state employment and labor laws. I also have an interest in non-verbal communication, like the Lappo method. Communication can be more than written and verbal. I am a puzzle lover, and people are puzzles.
I like communicating because I love people.
As you can see from my resume, I would be a great addition to your team! My experience in these various capacities and the demands of being a college student has given me the ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and be flexible and creative in problem-solving. I am dedicated to excellent customer service and being the best teammate, I can be.
