My name is Vanessa Williams and I am a second year undergraduate student at the University of Florida. I am majoring in Psychology on the Behavior Analysis Track and also pursuing a minor in Business Administration. I am eager to gain experience in the fields of Industrial/Organizational Psychology and Human Resources.
From 2021 to 2022, I served as a food service worker at Chick-fil-a. In this role I courteously greeted guests, took orders, explained and suggested menu items, completed transactions on the cash register. I also maintained a sanitary and safe restaurant. Currently, I work as a Student Assistant at the J.
Arts & Crafts Center at the University of Florida. My responsibilities include assisting patrons with arts and crafts projects as well as activities during special events. I operate as cashier on a point of sale register and reconcile daily reports, maintain, organize, and inventory all equipment and work spaces, and monitor patrons to ensure safe equipment use.
As a Reitz Union employee, I serve as an ambassador for all areas within the Reitz Union, Office of Event Services, as well as the University of Florida, providing accurate information and campus resources.
I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Psychology - Behavior Analysis at the University of Florida.
