Venise Kang

Venise Kang is a multidisciplinary creative and customer service professional with a strong background in both retail and nonprofit sectors. With a keen eye for visual organization and a passion for storytelling through imagery, she brings together technical skill and interpersonal warmth in every role she takes on.

Currently serving as a crew member and specialty order writer at Trader Joe's, Venise supports store operations by maintaining product flow, optimizing shelf displays, and ensuring a smooth guest experience. Particularly during peak hours or when understaffed. Her responsibilities also include operating registers, handling cash and card transactions, and engaging customers with thoughtful, friendly service.

Outside of her retail role, Venise is an active photographer and videographer. Honing her craft at Santa Monica College with a focus on urban and natural environments. Her creative work has been featured in Glamour Magazine (Winter 2015), Moyi Magazine (Summer 2021), and exhibited at the Pete and Susan Barret Art Gallery, demonstrating her ability to blend visual artistry with authentic perspective.
