Vernon McCray

I am a self motivated, entrepreneurially minded, process orientated team builder! I am a veteran of The United States Marine Corps.

I have owned my own construction company for many years. where I was able to work with the top 25 Contractors and Developers in Minnesota. As well as helped others get started in their own business. I have been a contractor in the telecommunications industry for the past 14 years.

I pride myself in the ability to learn and master new things, while promoting a healthy environment for idea exchange. Hoping to strive for the best in myself, while taking great joy in watching others becoming there best. I have been blessed with the ability to have very high ratings in my customer relations during all my service work.

I enjoy people at every age. Usually I can find topics to relate to almost anyone. Quite often time, ladder building to a solid friendship base in a short period of time.

I have worked and driven in the best and the worst Minnesota has to offer for the past 30 years. In many different vehicles. This seems to me to be an opportunity to work with a dynamic, growing industry. Where I'd be able to meet and fulfill the needs of many, in and around my community.

The ability to step into any situation, find the key people so that I can assist them in doing a better job. Determine if any areas that could use improvement and work to assist in making changes.

My work history is rather long and varied. After serving in the Marine Corps in aviation ordnance, I worked for O'hmaundro Company in the area in composite bonding for aircraft communications system coverings. I have worked in multiple areas of the construction industry.

I was a member of the Burlington Northern Railroad. Up and through the time it became Burlington Northern Santa Fe. As a crane operator. I have worked in the computer components industry. Mainly in hard drive components.

I joined Aspen trailer company where I helped to design and install Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems for over the road trucks. I joined IRD where I was able to work with companies like McDonald Douglas, Boeing, and several others companies in the aerospace and transportation industries. providing polished glass and ceramics. I then went into the service industry, in the area of Satellite TV, and internet installation.
