Hi! After graduating high school in 2023, I began working as a CRBF for an assisted living facility. I decided to pursue a career in healthcare, so I took classes to receive my CNA license! I am currently in my first year at UWGB as a Pre-Nursing student! After receiving my license, I worked at Brown County Treatment Center!
I started my career in healthcare as a CBRF worker before transitioning into a CNA. During my time as a CBRF, I gained extensive experience in providing direct patient care, administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and supporting the residents with everyday needs for a year. I was responsible for managing patient routines, including personal hygiene, dressing, meal assistance, and mobility support.
Additionally, I further developed a range of skills while working at a Brown County treatment center, where I supported individuals undergoing rehabilitation for substance use and mental health challenges. This environment allowed me to work with a diverse patient population. My experience in the treatment center refined my ability to manage challenging behaviors and support patients through emotional and physical struggles.
I graduated from Bay Port Highschool in 2023, Following graduation I jumped into working for an assisted living facility for a year. During the middle of last year, as I continued as a CBRF, I took nursing assistant classes and received my CNA license. I am currently in my first year at UWGB as a pre-nursing student.
