I am a former D3 athlete who studied Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience at Arcadia University for 4 years. I’ve been playing soccer since I was 9, and haven’t stopped as I still play in an adult league. After graduating in 2021, I began coaching kids from 3-13 years old in San Francisco.
I moved to Chicago July 2022 with my significant other and work as a Registered Behavior Technician in Bucktown. Dedicating 40 hours a week to support children diagnosed with Autism, I have a better understanding with dealing with problem behaviors and helping them develop mentally and socially.
I am interested in growing more in the soccer world and being a coach at a higher level to coach and be a mentor to current student athletes. When I played in college, I also worked a few jobs on and off campus while balancing school work and a social life. I was a study abroad mentor after I studied abroad in Australia and Oman as well as a Diversity/Inclusion leader for my soccer team to discuss social issues.
This was during our senior year, and COVID- 19 caused us to do remote classes. Luckily, I completed an internship with the Athletic Training department where I helped build policies regarding eating disorders that went along with my thesis: how do cultural factors and social relationships play a role in eating disorders and body image.
Although my experience in coaching is with younger kids, I believe I have many assets to constitute at the collegiate level. I am a quick learner, played in the NCAA, and have a passion to help develop well rounded student athletes at a competitive level.
Currently work as a Registered Behavior Technician with experience in coaching young kids in the Bay Area.
