I have had 30 + years as a career LPN in long term care, clinic experience, Homehealth, private duty with pediatric vents geriatric and adolescent care working in these areas I developed skills in taking and maintaining pt assessment and up keep In records and developed and maintaining computerskills. Scheduling appt. Phone assessment pt for follow up appt.
In the late 1995 to 2000. I have worked in mobile units for insurance testing in phlebotomy, lab testing and EKG, simple vision assessments as well as history taking and recording. Working in homehealth I help pt with medication teaching and medicine management.
Teaching pt how to live with their dx. In home health I am aware of the special need of our vets and how aging effects this demographic. Traveling nursing has prepared me and my ability to work effectively and pleasantly with others in day to day location changes.
