I am a pre-dental student currently completing a pre-health post-baccalaureate program at Meredith College. I have completed my dental assisting certification and am ready to support a patient-centered dental team on a part-time basis. I am knowledgeable of the sterilization monitoring practices required in North Carolina and passionate about upholding the highest levels of sterilization and disinfection to support patient comfort and safety.

Student Lab Assistant at UNC School of Dentistry Oral Microbiology Laboratory (2023-08 – Present)

• Handling patient samples while following HIPAA, BSL-2, and blood-borne pathogens training.
• Supporting operations of the laboratory by taking inventory, operating autoclave, and cleaning glassware.
• Making in-house nutrient media agars and broths used for both sterilization monitoring and clinical diagnostic testing.
