Teaching Artist, professional actor, writer, director, songwriter and youth performance mentor with more than four decades of experience spanning arts education, theatre, film, television, music, comedy, live performance and youth programming.
My career began as a professional writer and performer in New York, including approximately 600 Broadway performances, and continued through writing and performing for Walt Disney/EPCOT, children’s television and video, music production, corporate entertainment and nine years performing the hit comedy Triple Espresso in major cities across the country.
A significant part of my work has involved young performers—directing and producing children’s video and music projects, leading children’s choirs, coaching young actors and singers, developing educational programming and curriculum, and mentoring children through rehearsals and live performances.
I enjoy helping young performers discover what makes them unique, develop confidence, learn the discipline of rehearsal and performance, and understand how acting, movement, music, comedy and storytelling work together. My teaching style is practical, encouraging and rooted in decades of real-world professional experience.

Assistant to the Principal; helped develop educational programming and curriculum and worked directly with students in a school environment.

Created and contributed to children’s and youth programming for Vacation Bible School, Provident Music, Baptist Sunday School Board/Lifeway and Evangelical Presbyterian youth events.
