Most recently as Network CEO developed two new service lines with very rapid growth and received approval for a 70-million-dollar expansion. Great Falls Hospital and Clinic Network is a 5-campus multispecialty clinic with 80 employed providers and a 24-bed acute care hospital under construction to add 46 new beds including a 10 bed ICU, 2 Cath labs, EP lab, support space expansion and 3 new OR’s to meet the surgical demand.
As the Chief Clinical Information Officer, I was responsible for managing all hands-on operational aspects of service delivery including optimization and Clinical IT strategy. The role performed as a Chief Operations officer and oversaw service operations, IT enhancements, IT reporting, and oversight of the IT budget. Directly reported to the CMO (Chief Medical Officer/SVP), while supporting the President of Wake Forest Hospital and the CIO (Chief Information Officer/SVP) for the hospital system.
Supervised 14 direct reports and approximately 390 total FTE’s made up of Directors, AVPs, Business Relations Managers and Site Support Manager.
An Executive Leader over all Clinical and Ancillary Services including Rehab, Cardiopulmonary, Surgical Services and Dietary, accounting for about $800M in Net Revenue. Held additional roles that included Network Executive for Development of Trauma Surgical Residency Program, Radiology Outpatient Services and was the Executive Sponsor for 2nd Phase of Daily Management System Implementation. Led teams of 13 direct reports and 16 indirect reports that included Directors and Administrative Directors.
Managed a $300M budget supporting the CMO and CNO.
Led and executed the complete integration of two existing hospitals into a single provider that included the integration of medical staff, clinical and operational processes, and teams. In-depth experience in Lean
