As an educator for over a decade, I taught various grades and specialized in small-group and STEM-focused instruction, earning accolades like Teacher of the Year. Transitioning into professional development, I became a lead content developer at Reading Horizons, creating and refining literacy-focused resources, facilitating training, and collaborating across teams.
My diverse roles have included presentation design, webinar facilitation, content QA, and contributing to innovative AI initiatives, showcasing my adaptability, creativity, and commitment to making an impact in education and literacy.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (Grades 1–8) and a Master’s in Learning and Technology from Western Governors University. I have also earned a Science of Reading Certificate from Mount St. Joseph University, showcasing my expertise in evidence-based literacy instruction. This specialized training complements my extensive experience in foundational literacy skills, ensuring I stay at the forefront of research and best practices in education.
