Practice makes perfect, the more I experience and apply the more skills and tools I can utilize.
I worked as an Online Instructor at iDTech where I was entrusted to plan effective and fun lessons for small groups of 2-6 students primarily in Java Programming. To gauge students in the class, I communicated with students, asked for feedback, and discussed interests and goals to adjust lesson plans, optimizing student interest and learning abilities. I supported students through learning and understanding concepts and encouraged students to create their first Java project. I also coordinated helpful assignments and review guides, and patiently answered any questions of students via Zoom class and office hours.
I also volunteered for the School of Social Works, SJSU allowing me to work in a professional work setting, improve my management, communication, organization, and work skills. I communicated with professors and staff members in the department to complete requests and daily tasks and promptly applied any suggestions to improve future work.
