Sports Leader at Horizon Community College
I became a sports leader in year 9 at Horizon Community College which helped me gain leadership skills, teamwork abilities, and a passion for sports. In addition, I have the ability to motivate and inspire others.
I also got employed at Metrodome as a lifeguard from the age of 16. It allows me think quickly and gives me the ability to handle high-pressure situations. Lifeguarding also displays my effective communication and teamwork skills, as I work closely with colleagues and ensure the safety of others.
I have also volunteered at a cafe which has given me the skill to interact with customers. I have further learnt the importance of communication as it is vital to remember and communicate useful information.
Lifeguard (2026 – 2026)
I worked at a summer camp in America over the summer of 2026, I supported children with waterfront activities as I worked as a lifeguard. I ensured the safety and wellbeing of the campers while developing strong communication, teamwork and responsibility skills.
