Dual-hatted employee supporting the registered broker-dealer, Westpac Capital Markets LLC ("WCM") and Westpac Banking Corporation (Australian-based parent bank) and provide real-time fixed-income trading advice to front-office personnel. Key businesses include the Treasury Desk, FX Desk, Debt Capital Market activities in the primary market, institutional sales trading in the secondary markets which includes Australian and New Zealand government bonds, US Treasuries and global corporate issuers and Corporate Institutional Banking loan activities.
- Maintain and update the supervisory system, procedures, and controls are designed to comply with FINRA and OCC rules and regulations reporting to the CCO for an effective Compliance program.
- Support the relationship between the OCC assigned examiner on the bank-side and assist with the annual OCC examination.
- Help manage relationship with the assigned FINRA Monitoring Analyst regarding any questions posed on behalf of the broker-dealer activities and coordinating the FINRA exam from end-to-end (e.g., document requests, provide written responses and help manage the relationship).

Provide real-time fixed income trading advice and support to traders for the Treasury Division comprised of Securities Investment Group, Foreign Exchange, and the Money Market (i.e., Funding) & Treasury Investment Group Trading Desks (i.e., approved products include investment grade corporate bonds, CDS, CDX, IRS, FX Spot, Forwards, CD, CP, Treasury bonds and Cross Currency swaps etc.)
- Responsible for coordinating the operational risk framework and implementation for RCSA (Risk and Control Self-Assessment of Treasury Division) function which includes completing Tier I questionnaire, risk & control identification, determining inherent risk ratings, collection of test evidence, testing controls, determining residual risk ratings, and submitting remediation plans if any controls failed during testing.
