Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RCP) - Critical Care, PICU, Cardiac Surgical ICU. Day Shift PRN at Cape Fear Valley Hospital (2019-12 – Present)
Provide advanced respiratory therapy care to critically ill patients in intensive care settings, including medical, surgical, trauma, cardiovascular surgery, and intensive care units. Collaborate with multi focused specialized teams to initiate, manage and monitor invasive ad non-invasive ventilation. Serve as Preceptor in training both students and new team member orientation.
Participate in, multidisciplinary rounds to treat: sepsis, trauma and COPD exacerbations, assist in bronchoscopy procedures and airway management. Manage patients with acute respiratory failure, ARDS, COVID.
