Mortgage underwriting experience includes Conventional FNMA, FMCC and USDA. Correspondent FHA, VA with thorough knowledge of Manufactured homes.
Manual underwriting. Asset based lending using assets and bank statements to qualify. Due Diligence. Two years Underwriting and project management experience.
Analyzed Tri merge credit reports to determine borrowers credit risk by examining borrowers use, payment history, derogatory accounts, age of trades, public records, and other credit management behaviors.
Borrowers income was reviewed for fraud and prepared calculations of all eligible income sources, including employee wages, freelance, part-time, tips, bonuses, commissions, interest, dividend, SSI, Pension, Disability,
leave payments, foster care, alimony and child support, Alimony and Child support agreements, trust, rental and investment, VA benefits, military income, and asset-based loans. Self-Employed 1099, SCH C, 1065, 1120, 1120S,
K-1’s and P&L statements.
Complete review of personal and business asset statements to identify fraud, verify account holders, verify assets to calculate available funds, review for unusual and regular deposits, paper trails, unidentified reoccurring payments, unsourced large deposits, unidentified large payments and overdrafts.
Manual review of Full, Desk-top, and Drive-by Appraisals for accuracy, salability, and insurability. Verify data is consistent with public records, the appraised value is supported by determining comparables used are appropriate and best available, verify calculations used are consistent, verify health and safety standards are within guidelines. Determine if additional inspections are needed due to property condition. SFR, Second homes,
multi REOs, 4-Plex, Condos and townhomes.
Reviewed and verified purchase contracts, preliminary title, HOA Declarations to verify consistency with borrowers, sellers, property owners and property identification.
Overall review to identify fraudulent activity including identity theft, Anti-money laundering, terrorist financing,
property flipping and straw borrowers and other fraudulent mortgage red flags.
Maintained business relationships with loan officers, processors, and managers with detailed communication and identified documentation to support underwriting decisions while maintaining
