I am Vicky Chou, a Master of Finance student originally from Taiwan, studying at the University of California, Irvine. With experience in sales at Citi Bank and a background in accounting, I bring a diverse skill set and a deep passion for finance. My role as a Sales Assistant at Citi Bank provided me with valuable insights into financial markets and allowed me to develop communication skills.

Working as an Accountant Assistant also sharpened my financial analysis abilities and attention to detail.

• Calculated daily inventory statements for five stores and consolidated all inventory statements to track the cost of ingredients to decrease costs on inventory by comparing inventory consumption records and statements.
• Examined the daily revenue corresponding to the number in the pos cashier system, ensuring the setting in the pos cashier system was correct, preventing revenue loss.
• Organized different types of invoices and calculated the cost of fixed expenditure for five stores, reducing the accountant’s time on reporting tax.

Sales Assistant – Credit Card Loans November 2020 – February 2022

• Examined the credit card loan documents of more than 25 clients a day (on average) and carefully tabulated customized statements to save customers’ time and maximize profit.
• Conveyed the opinions of the Sales Admin. and sales to the Credit Card Loan Specialists, mediated disputes on cases, and acted as a liaison, eliminating extra steps to finish the application process.
• Collaborated with colleagues in offering advice to optimize the online system, reducing the processing time and increasing the application success rate.

• Worked closely with teammates to conduct a comprehensive analysis aimed at determining the appropriate valuation for New Bridge's acquisition of a 17% stake in Shenzhen Development Bank.

Financial Analysis Comparison, Project Director January 2023 – March 2023

• Collaborated with teammates to analyze the Revenue, Earning Quality, Risk, and Productivity of Netflix through analysis of vertical and horizontal financial statements, concluding investors can apply to buy and hold strategy on Netflix.
• Compare the last four years’ financial statements of Netflix with those of HBO, HULU, and Disney + to know that Netflix takes advantage of the streaming industry.
