I am a postdoctoral research scholar at the college of public health (COPH), University of South Florida, Tampa. My research interest lies in the data-driven approaches to studying complex systems. Current research involves developing data-informed mathematical models of infectious disease transmission and control.
My Ph.D. in Applied Physics and my ten years of experience as a mathematical modeler in the Pasteur Institute network and IRD (Institute of Research for Development, Paris, France), along with my leadership skills and ability to contribute collaboratively, could be significantly beneficial to understand the mechanism behind the transmission of infectious diseases.
During my previous experiences, I developed several mathematical and computational models that describe the spread characteristics of several infectious diseases such as leishmaniasis, West Nile virus, and COVID-19. The majority of these projects have been presented in seminars (poster and oral communication) and published in scientific journals.
