Hiring Manager at Clickable (2024-11 – 2026-08)
As the hiring manager for Clickable, my job was to, of course, hire! It went well beyond this though. In this position, I was the sole individual responsible for creating job posts, reviewing applications, interviewing candidates, drafting contracts, and training documents.
In this position, one of my more tangential responsibilities was ensuring everyone that I screen was given some foundational knowledge about the Clickable writing style and then building from that foundation to match the stylistic needs of a specific channel. All of this is done across multiple departments (video editors, scriptwriters, voice-over artists, and even thumbnail artists) for multiple different channels. So, long story short, I know how to juggle!
Temporary Hiring Manager at Bad Pixel Media (2026-04 – 2026-07)
While continuing my efforts with Clickable, I was also assigned to the same role with the network's Partner Bad Pixel Media. This role's responsibilities were wholly the same as mentioned above, but were all geared to a new team and writing style!
Lead Scriptwriter at Clickable (2024-09 – 2024-11)
Though it was a short-lived position, operating as the lead scriptwriter revolved around quality assurance for the videos produced at Clickable. In this position, grammar, clarity, and stylistic consistency were among the chief elements of review. Analysis was the name of the game and that skillset is something I used everyday as the hiring manager.
Scriptwriter at Clickable (2023-09 – 2024-09)
This is where my venture in YouTube officially began. In this position, I was responsible for taking my own writing style and embedding it within an already present and established style for the channel. Writing these scripts was a very research heavy endeavor as well. Over the course of my time here, I produced videos that garnered over 3.6m views. Of course, this venture inevitably grew into the more managerial roles above, but gotta give credit to the starting point!
Bartender at Stacked (2019-09 – 2024-12)
I'd be remiss to not mention what I was doing as I was growing with Clickable! In the background I worked as a bartender for a local brunch spot for many years. Though bartending likely doesn't immediately showcase any translatable skills, this job was essential in forming my philosophy of work environments: people-first. Here, I honed my interpersonal skills, maintaining a fun, friendly environment that was still incredibly productive during fast-paced, stressful rushes!
