As a fulltime video editor, I have been video editing professionally at cornerstone church since 2015, editing tv shows that air all around the world.

I have been serving the san Antonio, tx area in video production since 2015 as a camera operator for events such as high school sports, conferences and concert. As well as remote video editing for clients with 1 gigabyte internet speeds for larger file sizes

I began my journey in 2013 as a student, learned AVID Media composer as well as the fundamentals of editing there. I was often the fastest editor who outputed the highest quality product.

Post graduation, my program coordinator reccomended me to various different opportunites till I landed my full time editing job at Cornerstone Church editing their TV shows, which is where I still reside to this day.

I always get the work done so quickly I have time to edit for other clients such as Churchome, Summit Church, and UTSA as freelance.

I have also worked on a team from California on a river parade that was being broadcast nationally (Spiritlandia) I was initally hired as an assistent editor, being a native to San Antonio and no one knowing me. However, after seeing my skills in action, I was then promoted and credited as an Editor.

• Edits Television Broadcasts Using AVID Media Composer and Premiere pro for miscellaneous tasks
• Edit shows following Producers selection of generic and marketing selection of commercials and lower thirds from a Spot Log.
•  Utilize interplay in my workflow.
• Insert bars tone and slate on shows, then edit the show with the ins and outs from the generic, then edit in spots that I also QC when a producer gives it to me.
• Edit in all of the lower thirds and upper thirds in the show through marketing’s selection
• Version out the show 7 times (changing out the commercials and lower thirds) for 7 different network specific phone numbers. With a weekly total of 42 shows and a monthly total of 168 shows for a 4 week month and 210 shows for a 5 week month.
• Drop shows to watch folders on a system called “Vantage” that are moved to transcode that are delivered to the stations every week
• QC shows from other editors, making sure there are no mistakes that go out to Broadcast.
• Receive, and QC Captions from a captionist and QC the spots that I put on all of our commercials.
• Have trained 4 editors who are currently employed at Cornerstone Church
• Edited Devotional videos that were aired in a travel bus in Israel.
• Edited a Sanctuary of hope sizzle video.
• Edited a service opener.
•  Implemented project elements to ensure broadcast program standards.
• Finalized programming through advanced understanding of resource tools.
•  Responsible for program delivery and quality control by adhering to milestone schedules.

I believe all editing software is just a tool to create, whichever tool you know how to utlilize best to get the job is the one of choice. I know both very well

I like AVID's interplay that allows us to open up each others timelines as a team and work more efficiently transfering assets. And very stable

I like Premiere's creative tools and being able to link to after effects, but only downside is there more bugs to deal with due to them adding new features all the time.

I am equally fast in both. But for me, Premiere as cheaper as a freelancer so you can say that is my normal weapon of choice outside of Cornerstone.
