I am a results-oriented and compassionate nutrition professional with over three years of hands-on experience in designing, implementation, and coordination of community-based nutrition programs in both emergency and development settings. In my previous role as a Nutrition Program Assistant with International Medical Corps in Bamenda, Cameroon, I played a key role in executing CMAM/ IMAM, IYCF-E, and TSFP across 11 program sites in the North West region of Cameroon. I Hold a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Biochemistry, a Master 1 in Nutrition and Food Security and currently undertaking Master programme in Public Health Nutrition, Dietetics, and Nutrition Education.

I possess both strong academic grounding and practical expertise in the clinical and programmatic management of acute malnutrition. My responsibilities included budget planning, coordinating field operations, facilitating capacity-building sessions for health personnel and CHWs, managing nutrition data systems, and collaborating with partners and government stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery while aligning program activities with national standards. In addition, I actively contributed to the development of donor reports (BHA, ECHO) and represented the organization in regional nutrition cluster meetings.

As a trained safeguarding focal point, I promoted child protection and accountability mechanisms within project implementation. I have a strong commitment to humanitarian service, and I am eager to leverage my leadership, technical expertise, and passion to contribute meaningfully to your organization.

Nutrition Program Assistant (sat in as the interim Nutrition manager/ Officer for the first four months) at International Medical Corps (IMC) (2023-08 – 2025-05)

• Lead the planning, implementation, and supervision of all nutrition activities in accordance with organizational goals and donor requirements.
• Develop detailed work plans, set realistic targets, and ensure timelines are met.
• Coordinate multi-site program operations, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with national protocols and international standards.
• Monitor progress against program indicators and adjust implementation strategies as needed to optimize impact.
• Provide leadership in problem-solving, risk management, and adapting interventions based on field realities and community feedback.
• Coordinate field activities starting from OTP unit set up, nutrition supplies per site, weekly IYCF-E meetings and identification of SAM cases
• Ensure planning and implementation of Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) including; planned and schedule training on the management of severe acute malnutrition with /without medical complications, organized weekly screening, home visit, and IYCF support group meetings,
• Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with donor funding regulations.
• Track expenditures and ensure financial accountability across all program activities.
• Coordinate with finance teams to prepare budget forecasts, spending plans, and financial reports.
• Monitor burn rates and ensure timely procurement of nutrition supplies and equipment within budget limits.
• Participate in budget review meetings and contribute to proposal development with accurate budget inputs and justifications.
• Implement target supplementary feeding programs (TSF).
• Plan and organize Maternal Infant and Young Child Nutrition (MIYCN) /Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) trainings and activities.
• Coordinate the identification of caregivers with challenges in nutrition and creation of IYCF support groups in communities.
• Review the national protocols for the management of acute malnutrition quarterly with all nutrition field staff thus ensuring adherence.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and semi- annual, annual reports.

• Consolidates weekly nutrition data from 11 supported sites, analyses and identify gaps thus ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting.

Nutrition Volunteer at International Medical Corps (IMC) (2022-07 – 2023-03)

• Screen children for malnutrition and carryout preliminary assessment to make sure the different cases are admitted into the right programs.
• Manage children who are suffering from severe acute malnutrition (SAM) at the outpatient therapeutic unit (OTP).
• Ensure timely identification of complications, none respondent and referral to stabilization center.
• Apply CMAM standard protocol for treatment of severely malnourished children.
• Coordinate sanitization and community mobilization.
• Raise awareness on safeguarding among office and field staff and ensure safeguarding principles are not violated.
• Coordinate IYCF meetings and cooking demonstration sessions.
• Ensure consistence and completeness of the information in the nutrition registers.
