Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance and support for end users. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing IT assets, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 1 / Level 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows / macOS operating systems and standard applications.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
- Support email configuration (Outlook), VPN access, and remote access tools.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and antivirus updates.
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switches).
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Provide on-site and remote support as required.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and replacements.
