## Responsibilities

Design, build, and own production-grade backend systems using Python
Develop scalable APIs and async services focused on performance and reliability
Contribute to frontend development using modern React and TypeScript when needed
Make architectural decisions considering scalability, failure modes, and system resilience
Collaborate closely with product and engineering to ship LLM-powered features to production
Implement and optimize vector search and RAG-style workflows
Ensure security, compliance awareness, and best practices aligned with regulated environments
Work autonomously, driving technical decisions with minimal oversight
Contribute to cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Docker, CI/CD) and deployment processes
Support integrations with external systems and manage complex technical dependencies

## Requirements

Strong hands-on experience building backend systems with Python
Proven experience owning production systems end-to-end
Experience building and maintaining APIs and asynchronous services
Solid knowledge of modern React + TypeScript development
Experience delivering AI or LLM-powered products to production environments
Familiarity with vector databases, RAG architectures, or semantic search systems
Experience working with AWS and cloud-native tooling
Knowledge of containerization and CI/CD pipelines (Docker, automated deployments)
Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and reliability patterns
Ability to work independently in early-stage or fast-moving environments
Experience in regulated, healthcare, or security-sensitive systems is a strong plus
