Backend Java Developer

Description:

• Develop and maintain Backend applications using Java.
• Build and optimize high-performance RESTful APIs, ensuring security, scalability, and system reliability.
• Collaborate closely with Frontend, Product, and QA teams to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
• Participate in the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from technical requirement analysis to deployment and maintenance.
• Research and stay up to date with new technologies to improve code quality and optimize existing systems.
• Working hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM. Working schedules may include Monday to Friday; Monday to Saturday every other week; or Monday to Saturday morning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Mathematics and Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications, or other related fields.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot and Struts, with professional experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in at least two commonly used database management systems, such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Proficiency in source code management and deployment tools such as Git, GitLab, and Docker containers.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Secure Coding practices. Candidates are required to clearly demonstrate this experience in their CV.
• Good teamwork, communication, and presentation skills, with relevant experience demonstrated through actual projects in the CV.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Cloud platforms.
• Experience with Frontend technologies such as HTML/CSS, HTML5/CSS3, SASS, SCSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Thymeleaf, etc.
• Experience working with Sessions, Tokens, browser caching, WebSockets, and Service Workers.
• UI/UX design thinking or relevant experience.
• Basic English proficiency for reading technical documentation and workplace communication.
• Strong logical thinking and the ability to independently develop application modules.
• Enthusiastic, eager to learn, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Candidates with previous experience in Banking/Fintech projects are highly preferred.
