Backend Developer Intern at FPT Software Academy (2025-09 – 2025-12)

• Co-designed and implemented backend microservices (5+ services) for a laboratory and blood-collection management system, covering sample collection, lab processing, and result management workflows.
• Implemented an API Gateway using YARP as the single entry point, handling JWT authentication and routing requests to backend services — decoupling clients from internal service topology.
• Built a dual-protocol communication layer — gRPC for latency-sensitive synchronous calls (e.g., fetching patient data to complete test orders) and RabbitMQ for asynchronous event broadcasting (e.g., publishing HL7 results to multiple services) — preventing cascade failures across the distributed system.
• Implemented fault-tolerant messaging allowing the Instrument Service to keep processing blood samples when downstream services were unavailable, with queued messages reprocessed on recovery to ensure no loss of medical test data.
• Applied CQRS with MediatR to separate read/write concerns, reducing handler complexity and making each operation independently testable.
