Full Stack Java Developer

Introduction

We are looking for a Full Stack Java Developer with 7+ years of development experience.

The right candidate will have Java experience on the backend and JavaScript experience (or similar) on the frontend, with at least 1 year of experience working for banks (or similar).

The company is based in Johannesburg and works on a hybrid model (3 days in office;2 days remote).

This is a 12 month contract.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Build APIs and backend services using Java.
• Develop and maintain web applications using frontend technologies such as JavaScript (or similar).
• Design, implement, and manage relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Deploy applications to cloud platforms.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• 7+ years of development experience (with at least 1 year working for a bank or similar).
• Previous experience in a full stack role.
• Experience in RESTful APIs.
