Intermediate Java Developer

Our client, a dynamic player within large-scale telecoms billing and operations, is seeking a talented Intermediate Java Developer ready to take on significant responsibilities and contribute to innovative projects.

Duties:

• Build and maintain Java services on a large-scale telecoms platform
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries across various database engines
• Deploy and support containerised services on Linux environments
• Integrate systems via message queues and enterprise integration patterns
• Facilitate FAT and UAT sessions directly with customer teams
• Contribute within a Scrum/Agile team environment using Git

Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science, IT, or a similar qualification
• 4 to 6 years of commercial Java development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java, including J2EE and Spring frameworks
• Deep understanding of SQL, capable of complex, optimised queries across MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Experience with Linux, Bash scripting, server administration, and deployments
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
