Intermediate Java Developer

Our client is seeking an Intermediate Java Developer to join a growing software development team. This opportunity is ideal for a developer who enjoys building secure, high-performance applications while contributing to the continuous improvement of products and development practices. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with experienced professionals to deliver innovative payment technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and integrate new client solutions into existing systems.
• Design, develop, and enhance new application functionality.
• Maintain and improve existing systems.
• Perform development testing and support quality assurance activities.
• Provide third-line technical support and resolve complex queries.
• Contribute to system security initiatives and audit requirements.
• Continuously improve development processes and best practices.
• Collaborate within an Agile development environment.

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Software Development, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–8 years' software development experience.
• Strong Java development experience (Standard and Enterprise Editions).
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Solid SQL knowledge, including MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
• Experience using Maven, Git, and Eclipse or NetBeans.
• Experience working in continuous integration and testing environments.
• Understanding of OpenAPI protocols.
