You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to design and deliver solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and secure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using Python
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party financial service integrations
  • Develop scalable and secure systems that support financial transactions and operational workflows
  • Work with databases and large datasets to support reporting, reconciliation, and business operations
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical solutions and deliver features
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment processes
  • Contribute to system architecture and continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
  • 3–6+ years of experience in Python development
  • Strong experience building backend systems and APIs
  • Experience working with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
  • Solid understanding of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is advantageous
  • Understanding of software engineering best practices , testing, and CI/CD workflows
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
  • Experience within financial services, fintech, payments, or banking environments
  • Exposure to transaction processing or financial reconciliation systems
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or microservices architectures
  • Experience with data engineering or analytics pipelines
  • Understanding of security and compliance considerations within financial systems
