Job description

An integrated development studio and IT consulting firm that focus on helping organizations build, scale, and automate their operations through technology, is seeking a Software Database Developer who will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of robust database solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Database Development: Design, implement, and maintain complex database schemas, stored procedures, and triggers using Oracle SQL and MS SQL.

  • Optimization: Perform database tuning and query optimization to ensure high performance and scalability across integrated development projects.

  • Data Integration: Collaborate with full-stack and AI development teams to ensure seamless data flow between Large Language Models (LLMs), RAG systems, and core databases.

  • Quality Assurance: Troubleshoot database-related issues and ensure data integrity, security, and recovery protocols are strictly maintained.

  • Strategy & Consultation: Assist in mapping out high-value data use cases for client automation and business workflow modernization.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional development experience specifically using Oracle SQL.

  • Certification: Must hold a Certified Oracle Database 11g (or above) or a Certified Microsoft SQL Database credential.

  • Qualifications: A completed 3-year IT qualification (National Diploma or Degree).

  • Technical Proficiencies: * Expertise in Oracle and Microsoft SQL environments.

    • Familiarity with ERP integration (specifically SAP) is highly advantageous.

    • Understanding of data structures supporting AI/Automation workflows.
