Software Engineering Manager

Lexdan Select is assisting a Software company with their search for a Software Engineering Manager, based in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership

Manage engineers across product, data, and integrations.

Support performance, development, and day‑to‑day guidance.

Execution & Delivery

Oversee sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery tracking.

Coordinate releases and ensure consistent delivery cadence.

Manage technical operations across product and data environments.

Planning & Prioritization

Balance features, technical debt, integration needs, and platform stability.

Translate roadmap items into clear, executable plans.

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science or related field

8+ years of experience in software engineering management or delivery leadership.

Experience leading teams building complex, data‑heavy systems.

Comfortable working across product engineering, data engineering, and integrations.

Salary R80-R100K Per month
