I started working at Athol and Hamlin Arts as a sales representative, here our main focus was the selling Art work. My job was to create relationships with existing or potential customers understanding their needs while negotiating prices, terms and finalising sales after 8 months in the business I was promoted to operations manager in July 2024, with that promotion my job was now to oversee day to day activities of the business, making sure that artists are completing their work on time and clients that have ordered commissioned work had their needs met as-well as keep constant communication with them about the work to see if there’s any additional things they’d like to add or have altered.This also meant that I had to make sure that all purchases and orders are sent out on time and received by the customer. I had to also make sure that the paint and brushes and other resources were always available to the artists while controlling the budget to make sure the company does not overspend.
I was also tasked with thinking of ways to market the business more and identify and solve problems if they were any
After High-school I was employed at news365 an online news station where you’d publish articles on current events whether it’s celebrity gossip, health, politics or world news. The main station was news365 but the company had various channels in different countries such United
Kingdom,Zimbabwe,Nigeria etc…This meant that I was publishing articles on all these different sites and they all had to be different versions of each other
started working as a news blogger after highschool. Then went on to work at athol and hamlin arts as a sales representative for 8 months then got promoted to operations manager
