- Controlling Final Products (Stockpiling, Grading, Crushing & Screening, Logistical planning, Quality and Customer needs), arrange consignments and Loading Plan, arrange transport for Export (Road trucks and Rail) & also creating RTO'S, manage Section Budget, identify manpower needs, Manage performance against set Targets Competencies, Complete Month End Activities.
- Daily approval of the Production.
- Managing the safe execution of the receiving, stockholding and loading of Final Products for dispatch
- Updating Dispatch plan (Road & Rail) for Export & Local orders.
- Survey preparation, overseeing of surveys and processing of survey results
- Liaise with TFR and communicating delays. TFR weekly telecoms meetings.
- Updating stock Manager on MES and link with the Lab analysis. Approving and updating stock change (intermediate) on MES
- Arranging of the Daily crushing plan, Crusher performance monitoring.
- Executing Final product month end processes efficiently and on time.
- Follow up with transporters when there are deviations from dispatch plan.
- Maintain Final product reporting systems (Excel, MES and SAP) and distribute as and when needed
- Placing of Transport Orders based on dispatch plans
- Balancing MES and SAP for production and dispatches on a weekly basis.
- Investigate and solve stock shortages
- Managing the Dispatch non-conformances.
- Attending of all key final product meetings (Marketing meetings, MES meeting & TFR)
- Compile and implement SLA's with internal customers
- Participating in Logistics senior standby
Logistics Supervisor - Samancor (Ferrometals)

- Supervising the offloading of raw materials from road and rail trucks, the transfer of raw materials to the allocated storage areas.
- Superving the crushing operations of Final Products, transfer of final products to allocated areas & the loading and dispatching of Final products for Export & Local.
- Checking Stockpiles for correct sized and for Contamination
- Arranging transport as per Export Planning & movement of raw materials & Ensure high Quality Stock Control, Complete Month End activities.
- Ensuring that Discipline is maintained.
- Ensuring that adequate personnel availability and Managing Subordinates including Training and Development of the Team
- Ensuring adherence to the company's SHEQ management program and policies.
Production Supervisor - Samancor (Ferrometals)

- Supervising the Electrode management, Metallurgical control, Taphole and Post-taphole management, Raw materials management, operation of all additional auxiliary processes according to established operating standards and procedures, effectively management of production consumable through stock management, Liaise with Transport Contractors, Raw Material Suppliers and Customers.
- Reporting of plant status and equipment/process defects/deviations by updating the Production Management System.
- Ensuring adequate personnel availability.
- Comply with SHEQ Requirements (SHEQ Toolbox), KPI etc.
Final Product Supervisor - Hernic Ferrochrome

- Supervising the material handling process & the Material Dispatching process, reporting daily on Crushing and Dispatching performances, arranging transport as per Export Planning, maintaining high Quality Stock Control, Completing Month End activities, Check Stockpiles for correct sized and also for Contamination, Prepare Loading Instructions Documents for Dispatch.
- Ensuring Discipline is maintained, ensure adequate personnel availability, Manage Subordinates including Training and Development of Team.
- Ensuring adherence to the company's SHEQ management program and policies.
Logistics Coordinator - Samancor (Middelburg Ferrochrome)
(2002-02 - 2015-04)
- Coordinating the maintaining of Stock in the Breaking and Packing area & Breaking and Crushing Operations, grading (naming) of the Ferrochrome material, Check Stockpiles for correct sized and also for Contamination, ensure Customer Satisfaction.
- Controlling the Management Information System, Update information (Production Records) on MES
- Managing Subordinates including Training and Development of Team.
- Complying with SHEQ Requirements (SHEQ Toolbox), KPI etc.
Acting Final Product Specialist - Hernic Ferrochrome
When the Final Product Specialist was on leave.

- Controlling SHEQ (Environmental awareness, Sampling, Procedures and Safety awareness), Updating SOP'S & also creating new ones, Ensure Adherence to all related SOP'S, PTO'S and CTO'S as per Training Matrix per position, SHEQ and Company.
