Amanda Simelane

I am strong Christian lady who believes in bible values. I am an enthusiastic Pre-School teacher and Foundation Phase teacher. I have a passion to work with children from different cultures and backgrounds. I recently graduated my Bachelor in Education with University of South Africa.

As an intern teacher my responsibilities was to Observe the cooperating teacher for the first few days, learning student names, procedures, routines, etc. Compile a notebook of plans taught and a log of observation and teaching times. Begin by teaching one lesson/subject and progress to full-day teaching within seven weeks.

My achievements were remarkable student progress, Learning from a lot from qualified teachers. Throughout my internship experience, I fostered a truly positive and compassionate learning environment for my students. both managing the daily processes within the classroom and planning and delivering effective lessons and assessments directly affected the academic gains of my students.

Recently I have been tutoring grade 1- grade students especially those struggling with Mathematics and English the results have been very good, I also enjoy classroom environment teaching.
