I have nine years’ experience in the South African private and public sectors, with solid expertise in the Journalism, Communications and Education industries. I am recognised as a highly agile and skilled information and communications professional with a proven track record. I am enthusiastic, willing to work hard and smart to make a difference.
My interpersonal and intercultural competence ensures I deliver appropriate guidance in the workplace, driving organisational goals and efficiencies. I approach tasks with energy and action to ensure constructive project management. 2015 – Present
Since joining the faculty in 2015, I have been the editor of Softcopy. I plan events on behalf of the faculty, namely the first-year orientation programme, Dean’s Dialogue Series and Entrepreneurship Week, and the DUT Arts and Design Digital Festival. I manage the faculty’s social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), and author articles for the DUT website. I am responsible for student recruitment activities in the faculty.
