With over 20 years of experience, I am an accomplished professional with a diverse background in quality management, executive support, and logistics.
September 2020, I have served as the Quality Manager at Ilex South Africa, implementing ISO 13485, managing the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS), and providing leadership in compliance, audits, and reporting. I also have significant experience as an Executive Assistant to the General Manager and CEO, where I handled administrative tasks, managed schedules, function management and travel arrangements. Prior to this, I worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific in various roles, including Quality Engineer, Logistics Team Leader, and Executive Assistant, where I managed quality systems, facilitated continuous improvement, and supported corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Additionally, I volunteer as a Team Manager for the Suzuki Cycling Development Team, focusing on athlete development.
My most relevant education includes certifications and courses focused on quality management, health and safety, and leadership. These include the ISO 9001 Internal Auditor (2021) and ISO 13485:2016 for Medical Devices Implementation (2018) from BSI by Royal Charter, as well as South African Medical Device Legislation (2019). Additionally, I completed Health & Safety Representative, Emergency Preparedness and Response, First Aid Level 2 training (2021) and Developing Front Line Leaders from Thermo Fisher Scientific (2018).
