I am 20 currently looking for work in retail or administration. I enjoy learning new things and have experience engaging with customers and am highly quality orientated. I plan on going into logistics at a later stage in my life, I am truly fascinated by the fact that it encompasses almost every part of business.
I’d like to gain ground experience, regardless of industry while I study my degree part-time. I believe that no position is too small as every business requires different levels of work and experience to produce the final product or provide the necessary service.
I have engaged in short-term positions in logistics, acting as a quality control inspector for automotive vehicles on behalf of Mahindra South Africa. This requires inspection of new vehicles before they are sent off to the dealerships, liaising with carrier control and head office, in addition to providing inspection reports.
I also have experience in waitressing. I worked part-time at Hooters in Gauteng, the experience allowed me to engage with customers- ensuring that the food fit the quality standards and providing customers with the highest level of service as possible. Hooters has strict rules when it comes to how customers are treated, served and overall quality satisfaction. I am familiar with the GAAP Point of Sale system
I graduated with a bachelors from Woodlands International College in 2021, I was top 5 of my grade, attaining 4 distinctions in business studies, history, Afrikaans and Life orientation. I briefly studied law at Wits university, however I decided that it wasn’t the career path I wanted to take and went on to acquire a diploma in Operations and supply chain management through GetSmart- operating under UCT.
