Anja Nieuwoudt

I matriculted in 2018 from D.F. Malherbe High School, and achieved my Bachelor of Visual Arts in Graphic Design in 2021 at the School of Visual and Performing Arts in the Faculty of Humanities at Nelson Mandela University.

I just achieved my Honours: Visual Arts in Graphic Design at the School of Visual and Performing Arts. I am also a Junior Graphic Designer for the Faculty of Health Sciences since March 2022 under the Design Portfolio in the Shared Services office. My responsibilities range from marketing, design and communications, to technical support during hybrid/live events (faculty workshops and student ceremonies).

I have been a tutor at the Department of Media & Communications at Nelson Mandela University for second and third-year students since January 2022.

I aim to share my passion for design through my work. Fueled by understanding the vast opportunities held within design and advertising, I consider myself a forever student, eager to both build on my academic foundations in Graphic Design as well as human relations. It is important to stay in tune with the latest digital techniques and styles through continued coursework and personal/professional development.

My services include branding, logo development, marketing, illustrations and publication design.

I strive to always work hard and tackle every challenge with a smile. It is impossible for me to imagine myself doing anything else, but be a creative in our world. As my lecturer once said:

Be Creative. Be You.
