I'm a 31 year old Grade 1 teacher, I'm a wife and a mother of a 7 year old. Teaching is my passion and I've been doing it for 5 years. My dream is to expand my knowledge and experience, I'm open for learning and new adventures. My goal is to empower learners to think critically and use their own creativity within the classroom. I'm part of multiple extra mural organizations, for example: sports coordinator, fundraising member and Transform to Perform coordinator.
Before teaching I explored different career paths. I was a banking consultant for two years. After that I worked in a Legal department for a year, where my role was to negotiate payments ect. I then decided to do a PGCE. I'm 5 years employed as a Grade 1 teacher, at a E-learning school outside my hometown.
Bachelor of Art at the University of the Western Cape.
Post Graduate Certificate in Education at the University of South Africa.
