Annari Stander is a Registered Counsellor and hold a partial degree in Mathematical Statistics. She is an ambitious and hardworking individual with a long list of life experiences. Her interest has always been broad, allowing her to develop a wide range of skill sets.
Her underlying passion has always been people, whereas her strength has always been critical, analytical and mathematical abilities. Over time, her passion led her to develop competency in areas she once considered weaknesses. She obtained multiple qualifications in areas such as Hypnotherapy, Reiki and Life Alignment.
Currently, Annari is serving as an executive member of the Psychological Association of South Africa (Community & Social Psychology Division) and completed her Psychometric registration at Nelson Mandela University.
Registered Psychometrist Internship The role of the psychometrist in the school was focussed on test administration, conducting role-plays, scoring of test results, report writing and providing constructive feedback to parents regarding successful or unsuccessful admission to the school.
Psychological Association of South Africa
Responsibilities include assisting the chairperson and vice-chairperson with the various activities to be completed. Skills utilised include critical thinking, analytical skills, psychology, project management skills, presentation skills and report writing. Furthermore, I am the project manager for the Seed Grand program of 2023.
As a registered counsellor intern, I worked within the scope of a registered counsellor. This included community interventions, stakeholder management, psycho-educational facilitations, networking, counselling, workshop development, recruitment and awareness raising.
BPsych Programme of Equivalence, Psychometry In this short course, I acquired advanced knowledge, skills and attitudes related to testing individuals, interpreting and analysing data acquired, report writing and conducting suitable feedback sessions. The course included training in both a clinical and industrial setting.

Training includes psychometric testing, community intervention, research (qualitative and quantitative), counselling skills, group work skills, and psychopathology.
