I have completed my BSc Earth Science degree (Majors: Geology, Geography and Environmental Management) and BSc Geology Honours degree at RAU (now UJ) and my MSc Mineral Resource Management degree at UFS.

I have worked in the mining industry for 20 years from deep to ultra deep level mining as well as open cast mining (cement and aggregates) as well as GIS. At AfriSam the geology department assisted in the Mine Rehabilitation planning as well as environmental management issues. I have also assisted CADDIS with training at the mines.
