Aphelele Mbuzi

I am a young, enthusiastic journalist who has had the opportunity to develop my skills and gain invaluable experience on a variety of platforms. I started off by contributing to the college newsletter at Rosebank College. Because of this work, I was able to gain a solid foundation in writing, editing, and the various aspects of creating interesting content. Working closely with the editing team taught me the value of timeliness, careful attention to detail, and the impact of narrative.

To expand my skills, I joined the Voice of the Cape radio station. It was here that I entered the exciting field of broadcast journalism. As a result of this training, I have developed skills beyond just writing; I have done interviews, done story research, and presented news pieces. I learned how to think quickly, change rapidly, and successfully interact with a many audience working in the fast-paced world of live radio.

With a strong background in broadcast and print journalism, I can not wait to advance in the media. For every project I work on, I offer a special combination of knowledge, expertise, and passion. Through my job, I hope to have a positive influence and contribute to the journalism community.
