As a driven upcoming professional, I intend on taking every opportunity to learn, grow and affect change. Given our increasingly digitised society, I truly beleive in the onus that we as society (and marketers) have to assume in ensuring ethical, uplifting and clear communication as to shape the world in such a way.
I hope to offer strengths such as eager and efficient teamwork, a "can-do" attitude and interpersonal relations to any commitment. I believe myself to be boldly proactive in encouraging team performance and engagement, as well as being self-motivated. This would be best demonstrated through proactive involvement in my community, attaining various leadership roles and championing various community projects.
My heart for people and youth specifically is sincere and I intend on exercising expression thereof consistently through the way in which I relate to others in any environment - work, or otherwise.
Social Media Manager – Shofar Stellenbosch @shofarstellenbosch (2022 - Present)
Facilitate increased digital engagement and account reach via Instagram and Facebook, reaching 9471 accounts at 2540 followers on Instagram between 9 November and 6 February. This is attained through content creation that is both informative as well as community-building, and responding timeously and professionally to inbox requests made by foreshadowing questions and liaising with the relevant staff beforehand. Content creation experience in this role has increased my Canva proficiency, interpersonal communications and photographic skills.
Social Media Manager – Cultivate Coffee Shop @cultivatecoffeeshop (2022 - Present)
Drive sales, promote localism and encourage positive word of mouth via Instagram and interpersonal relations. Minimal content creation required. Scheduling of posts as per requested and posting.
Social Media Manager – Amplified Youth @amplified_youth_stellies (2022 - Present)
Plan and schedule engaging campaigns and consequently, manage content creation that appeals to Gen Z youth. Facilitate upliftment and promote involvement in the youth group and society at large via engaging content on Instagram and YouTube, with a 35.8% increase in Instagram accounts reached between 9 November and 6 February.

Young Entrepreneurship Boost (YEP) Programme (2021)
A co-mentoring programme with a Norwegian partner university (busines school) of disadvantaged South African high school students. Participated in a business plan development competition in which the team I co-mentored placed second, winning a R10 000 capital prize to support their young business venture. This fueled my passion for youth education and the ability to impart knowledge and empower Gen Z.

Matriculated in 2019 with an aggregate of 85%. Attained 91% and 95% NSC aggregates in English Home Language and Afrikaans Additional Language respectively, demonstrating bilingualism and fluency for copywriting as an upcoming marketing professional.
