I became a qualified Enrolled Nurse in 2014 and began my nursing journey with the City of Johannesburg in 2017 as a volunteer, eventually transitioning to a contracted role doing phlebotomy and vital signs monitoring. I then moved on to work with the Anova Health Institute, doing phlebotomy duties, drawing blood, labelling forms and specimen, tracking results, compiling reports. counselling participants before procedures, ordering stock needed, followed by a position at Next Biosciences where zi was swabbing clients coming for Covid-19 test, transport specimens to the lab for testing.
