I am a caring and compassionate woman with a strong social conscience and self-resilience. I have a commendable eye and passion for Design, I also boast a great interest in brand development and visual merchandising.

As a resourceful, self-motivated and professional artisan with 13 years in the retail industry, I find myself confidant at all levels of demand. I am organized, skilled, articulate, results driven, determined and always willing to learn more. Through experience I have developed a unique company spirit, which has helped me attain excellent interpersonal liaison skills.

I am able to work well, both independently and as a part of a team, I recognise optimism and respect as core pillars to manage and champion with a team, my efforts are engineered and targeted. Integrity and loyalty are important values to me and I employ a positive “never say die” energy.

My professional tenure in the interior retail industry has ranged from all aspects of the business. In the 13 years I have been a sales assistant, assistant store manager, store manger and interior decorator, visual merchandiser and head of customer service. My recent job with Volpes I was afforded the opportunity to work closely with a Chief Retail Operations manger and learned the bases of day to day retail operations.

Whilst in customer service I was also afforded the opportunity to see the operations of production.

My most relevant incumbency in education will have been my time at the University of Johannesburg where I had studied a BA in Interior Design. During this time I learnt about the different facets of the industry, the production management and the cross curricular aspect which allows design to be so multi lateral and integrated.
