My passion for Electricity led me to pursue a career in the electrical industry, where I've had the privilege of learning, growing, and contributing within a dynamic and challenging environment. Working with the electrical company I’ve not only developed technical skills in wiring, installations, troubleshooting, and safety protocols, but I’ve also cultivated a profound respect for the responsibility that comes with handling such a powerful resource. Each project has deepened my understanding of electrical systems and expanded my ability to think critically, solve problems under pressure, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
Experience
Electrician at Genergy (2021 – Present)
- Senior PV installer for Hybrid and Grid-tied, Residential, Commercial and Utility solar systems.
- Working on Single and Three Phase systems
- Wiring of DC combiner box for PV modules and battery banks
- Wiring of High Voltage and Low Voltage AC distribution boards
- Working in an AC distribution board doing load splitting for alternative supplies
- Completing DC insulation resistant tests
- Perform maintenance on the electrical aspects of the PV systems, as well as fault finding and troubleshooting
- Understand the project build by reviewing the schedules and drawings.
- Check the BOQ to ensure everything required for the build is in place – tools, parts, specialised equipment etc.
- Ensure installation is in accordance with project plan / recovery plan.

National Senior Certificate – DD Mabuza Comprehensive High School (2013 – 2016)
