The project, overseen by the Eskom Primary Energy Division, involves the implementation of the Automated Coal System (CAS), which includes installing new plant equipment and processes.
The project aims to capture the movement and quality of coal from pit to burn, ensuring accurate tracking from dispatch at the mine to the Eskom PowerStation Weighbridge, with the capability of automatically raising an incident if one occurs during the movement of coal when Geofencing is active.
