As a kid, I was passionate about music. Got all the books I needed to learn how to read and write sheet music. Did you know that there is something called music transcription, where one would transcribe the melody into musical notes? Music was and is a passion of mine.
When times got a little tougher, I realized I needed to expand my arsenal and cast a wider net. And so I did. I learned about a platform called Rev. Transcribing their audio into written documents takes time, but you learn something new every day. And like music, general transcription eases accessibility to your content.
As a Revver for four years, the reason I do transcription is for anyone who has difficulty listening to the audio, or they can't access it due to personal reasons. I want to make sound more accessible to these people, and this is what keeps me going.
